I can't log in | PianoGenius.com

Solution

This area is a paid membership site.  If you are a paid member, the login page to access your premium content is here:

https://www.pianogenius.com/members/

If you're having trouble logging in, that page will prompt you to have your password re-set, so as long as you are using the same email address you signed up with it should send you a new password.

PLEASE NOTE: If you don't receive the "reset your password" email, check your junk mail / spam folder. Sometimes important emails accidentally get sent there, especially if you use Hotmail or Yahoo.com or AOL email, those are notoriously bad for mis-flagging legitimate email as spam.

If you believe you are a paid member but the system is saying it doesn't recognize you, be sure you're entering the same email address you used when you registered. If you're still having a problem, Submit A Ticket  and I'll look into it ASAP.

Be aware that for passwords, upper/lowercase letters matter, so make sure your caps-lock is off, etc.

Also, if you copy/paste your username or password in, be aware that it may accidentally copy a "space" at the end which counts as a character which will make the login not work.

If there's still an issue, please try a different browser than you're using, like

http://www.GetFirefox.com

http://www.google.com/chrome

If You're Having Trouble Staying Logged In:
On April 12th we upgraded part of our system to keep things fast and secure. If you're seeing issues staying logged in, a quick fix is to clear cookies for pianogenius.com or log in using a private/incognito browser window.

Especially with Chrome and Safari browser, once you log in and click on another page it might kick you back out and ask you to log in again. Frustrating, I know, sorry about that!

There's nothing "wrong", it's just that the "legacy cookies" in your browser from before the upgrade may not keep you logged in.

Simple Fixes:
- Try using a different browser than what you're using. Firefox, etc, whatever you don't normally use.
- Open a private/incognito mode page in your browser. Normally you'd click on the top right of the browser and select "New Private Window", that'll fix the issue.
- You can also just delete the existing cookies in your browser, or if you know how to do it just delete the PianoGenius.com cookie.

I apologize for any inconvenience — not being able to stay logged in is frustrating, but this is a one-time upgrade issue that can be fixed with any of the 3 above methods.
